Har Ki Dun

After breakfast, drive from Sankri to Dharkot, covering a distance of approximately 24 km in around 2 hours through scenic mountain roads. From Dharkot (2,500 m / 8,400 ft), begin the trek towards Osla Village (2,750 m / 9,000 ft). The 8 km trek takes about 5–6 hours and follows a picturesque trail through dense forests, traditional Himalayan settlements, and beautiful river valleys. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and experience the rich culture of the region. Upon reaching Osla, explore the charming village known for its unique wooden architecture and traditional lifestyle. Spend the evening soaking in the serene mountain atmosphere before settling in for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin the trek from Osla Village towards Seematra, a beautiful alpine campsite nestled amidst the majestic Himalayas. Covering a distance of approximately 7 km in 4–5 hours, the trail gradually ascends through lush meadows, dense forests, and scenic mountain landscapes. As you gain altitude, enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, pristine valleys, and the untouched beauty of the region. Upon reaching Seematra at an altitude of 3,250 m (10,800 ft), relax and take in the spectacular surroundings. Spend the evening exploring the campsite area, enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere, and preparing for the next day's adventure. Overnight stay at Seematra.

After an early breakfast, embark on an exciting trek from Seematra to the breathtaking Har Ki Dun Valley, situated at an altitude of 3,500 m (11,600 ft). Covering a total distance of approximately 8 km (both sides) in 6–7 hours, the trail takes you through expansive alpine meadows, pristine streams, and spectacular Himalayan landscapes. As you approach the valley, enjoy panoramic views of snow-clad peaks and the serene beauty that has earned Har Ki Dun the title of the "Valley of Gods." Spend some time exploring the valley, capturing photographs, and soaking in the tranquil surroundings before beginning the return trek to Seematra. Upon arrival, relax at the campsite and enjoy an overnight stay amidst the peaceful Himalayan wilderness.

After breakfast, begin the descent from Seematra towards Pauni Gharat, a scenic campsite located amidst dense forests and beautiful mountain landscapes. The trek covers approximately 8–9 km and takes around 4–5 hours to complete. As you descend to an altitude of 2,500 m (8,300 ft), enjoy stunning views of the surrounding valleys, rivers, and traditional Himalayan villages along the route. The trail offers a pleasant walk through pine forests and picturesque terrain, making it an enjoyable day of trekking. Upon reaching Pauni Gharat, relax at the campsite, soak in the peaceful natural surroundings, and enjoy an overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin the final trek from Pauni Gharat to Dharkot, covering a distance of approximately 3–4 km in 2–3 hours. The trail gradually descends through scenic forests and charming mountain landscapes, offering one last opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the Har Ki Dun region. Upon reaching Dharkot, board your vehicle for the drive back to Sankri. The 24 km journey takes around 2 hours and passes through picturesque valleys and traditional Himalayan villages. Arrive in Sankri at an altitude of 1,950 m (6,400 ft), where you can relax and celebrate the successful completion of your trekking adventure. Overnight stay in Sankri.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the majestic Himalayas and begin the return journey from Sankri to Dehradun. Covering a distance of approximately 200 km in 9–10 hours, the drive takes you through scenic mountain roads, charming villages, lush forests, and beautiful river valleys. As you descend from the mountains, take in the final views of the breathtaking landscapes and reflect on the unforgettable memories created during the trek. Upon arrival in Dehradun, the Har Ki Dun adventure comes to an end, leaving you with lasting experiences of nature, adventure, and Himalayan hospitality.
